The conference addressed topical issues of interaction between language and society, dynamic linguistic processes, issues of the paradigmatic state of modern linguistics, problems of its metalanguage, problems and methodological approaches in certain branches of linguistics, the use of new techniques and tools in linguistic research. In the section "Stylistic system of language" the peculiarities of stylistic design of texts in different spheres of communication are considered. The section "Peculiarities of literary colloquial speech and non-literary forms of oral communication" featured reports on the specific nature of the Russian dialect speech, its comparison with other forms of communication, the use of colloquial units in certain subcultures, the penetration of colloquial and non-literary elements into public and professional speech, and cultural texts; the phenomena of interference in Russian speech in situations with a foreign language environment of its existence were considered. The reports of the section "Genre organization of oral and written speech" analyzed speech genres of different communicative spheres. In the section "Linguistic representation of the worldview", the issues of conceptualization and categorization of knowledge about the world by means of various linguistic levels and subsystems, objectification of the worldview in various communicative spheres were discussed. In the section "Specific characteristics of various types of institutional and interpersonal communication", reports were presented on the analysis of communicative tactics and strategies, speech features of public and non-public communication. The section "Artistic speech" included reports on the specific linguistic traits of modern and classical literary texts. The "Corpus linguistics" section was devoted to the problems of creating and using linguistic corpora for scientific purposes. Dynamic processes of the Russian language in the field of word formation and vocabulary in structural, semantic, and comparative aspects, as well as theoretical problems of word-formation derivation, were considered at the meetings of the scientific seminar "Development of the word-formation and lexical system of the Russian language".
