Breach of the Ethical Conduct as One of the Reasons of Communicative Failures in Interaction

One of the frequent reasons of communicative failures in everyday speech interaction is considered in the article, namely a breach of the ethical conduct of communication. A particular emphasis is placed on the multifaceted nature of the ethical conduct definition. On the basis of the informal communication the author analyzes some constituents of this notion and their influence on the success of the communication process.

Choosing Communication Type Variant as a Component of Communicative Competence

The article addresses the correspondence of the formal and informal communication and the influence of the communication type on the communication processes.

Communicative risks in the dyad ‘doctor – patient’

The article deals with the doctor’s communicative behavior and professional risks arising in the process of doctor – patient verbal communication. Obedience of linguistic and communicative norms proves to be the most essential factor in preventing a professionally ‘risky’ doctor – patient communication. In the process of investigation, speech tactics of doctor – patient communication, which can prevent possible professional risks, have been established.
