Рецензия посвящена книге доктора филологических наук, профессора, зав. отделом истории славянских литератур Института славяноведения РАН, зав. кафедрой славистики и центральноевропейских исследований РГГУ, члена Союза писателей России, известного фантастоведа Е. Н. Ковтун.
Книга построена по принципу путеводителя, в котором представлена галерея миров посмертного существования человеческой души. Материалом исследования стали произведения, написанные писателями-фантастами 20-21 вв., представляющими литературные традиции России, Западной Европы и США.

The Image of the Garden in the Novel La Faute de l’Abbé Mouret by Emile Zola

The article focuses on the garden as a literary image based on the archetype and some mythological allusions. The structure of the garden is analyzed in detail as the novel space at variance and in connection with the naturalistic aesthetic approach.

The article is a review of the collective monograph presented by the team of authors within the framework of the international transdisciplinary project Cult-goods: the phenomenon of mass literature/culture in modern Russia. Published at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, the book has gathered many scientists from diff erent countries whose scientifi c interests are related to the phenomenon of modern mass literature and culture in general.
