This article is dedicated to the development of typology of consciousness on the basis of the linguistic data. Examines the features of synchronic and diachronic usage of words «law», «constitution», «legal system» in literary and philosophical discourse, and also introduces the experimental data, which allow to reveal the peculiarities of the reflection of corresponding fields of knowledge by ordinary consciousness.
