The name of A.M. Fedorov – prolific author, successful playwright, talented translator and poet – was quite popular in pre-revolutionary Russia. Throughout his literary career, A.M. Fedorov also worked as a journalist. Since 1899, he was a permanent correspondent of the Odesskiye Novosti magazine, where he happened to work on different issues in various genres, from short notes to reviews and feuilletons.
