Trends in the neologization of verbal vocabulary in the late 20th – early 21st centuries

The article deals with the problem of language neologization on the example of suffixal verbal neologisms that appeared in the late 20th – early 21st centuries. The process of neologization occurs in a language with varying degrees of intensity in different language periods. In the late 20th – early 21st centuries, the language is replenished with a large number of neologisms due to extralinguistic factors – significant changes taking place in society.

Тенденции неологизации глагольной лексики в конце XX – начале XXI вв.

В статье рассматривается проблема неологизации языка на примере суффиксальных глагольных неологизмов, появившихся в конце XX – начале XXI вв. Процесс неологизации в языке происходит с разной степенью интенсивности в различные языковые периоды. В конце XX – начале XXI вв. язык пополняется большим количеством неологизмов, что обусловлено экстралингвистическими факторами – значительными изменениями, происходившими в обществе.

New suffixal verbs and the formation of new verbal derivational types in the Russian language of the 18th century

The article deals with the problem of language neologization on the example of suffixal verbal neologisms. The author focuses on the dynamic aspect of studying the process of language neologization, in which it becomes possible to identify the dynamics of the interaction of word-formation types and their formation. Such an approach makes it possible to reveal the tendencies of the process of neologization both in a certain period of linguistic history, in the future, and in linguistic diachrony as a whole.
