Conceptualization of a Greek Loan-Word of Orthodox Discourse Icon in a Literary Text (on the Material of the Texts of I.S. Shmelyov)

The article is focused on the conceptualization of Greek loan-words from the Orthodox discourse in literature. On the material of prose by I. Shmelyov we have analyzed the structure of the concept icon. It is possible to distinguish objective-notional, imagery-symbolic, and evaluative levels of the concept. Their distinctive features are shown to be determined by cultural and religious traditions and also explained by narrative characteristics of the works.

ART CONCEPT: METHODS AND METHODS OF RESEARCH

The article deals with the question of the methods used in the study of artistic concepts. The complexity of this problem is due to the ambiguity of the nature of the artistic concept and the associated entities - the artistic text, the artistic picture of the world.

DIFFERENTIAL IMAGING OF THE LANGUAGE PICTURE OF THE WORLD

The article deals with the correlation of the concepts "language picture of the world", "world picture" and "conceptual picture of the world". The possibilities of reflecting the linguistic picture of the world at various language levels are shown. The national-cultural specificity of phraseological units in different languages is analyzed.

The article deals with the universal category of telicity/atelicity of verbal activity and with the classification of the French verbs of movement. The category of direction and the concept of perspective are the main semantic features indicating telicity/atelicity of a verb of movement.

The article studies associative reactions of hyperonymic type that name animals. Dependence of frequency of this type of reactions on perceiving animals as «ours/theirs» and «wild/domestic» is determined.
