Editorial Management Transformation Under the Digitalization Influence

The article presents the theoretical analysis of editorial management transformation given the rapid digitalization in mass media. The author describes the system of influencing factors of changes and explores the main managerial implications. The author insists on the controversial nature of digitalization in mass media which set a range of challenges for managers.

REALIZATION OF TRANSLATION TRANSFORMATIONS IN TRANSLATION TO RUSSIAN LANGUAGE OF THE NAMES OF FRENCH FILM FILMS

The author considers cases of partial and complete dissimilarity of original and translated names of motion pictures, reveals possible reasons for using transformational operations.

CHEKHOVSKY "PLATONOV" ("PIECE WITHOUT NAME") IN THE INTERPRETATION OF M. FREIN

The article is devoted to the study of the play of the modern English playwright M. Frein "Wild Honey", which in turn is a translation-interpretation of Chekhov's "Platonov". The article analyzes approaches, ways Frein uses in working with Chekhov's text, and also tries to understand how organically the classical Russian-language text exists in the space of the theatrical culture of England.

Transformation as a Means of Giving Adequate Translation

The article is devoted to the problems of literary translation, in particular to the ways of supplying adequate translation. On the examples from a short story by a famous XX century English writer D.H. Lawrence, the authors of the article show that in the cases where there are no analogues in the target language to the structures of the source language, lexical and grammar transformations prove to be effective.

The Reflection and Transformation of Dagestan Folklore and Ethnography in the Works of V. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko

The article considers the works of Vas. Iv. Nemirovich-Danchenko, dedicated to Dagestan. In his works the writer depicts the life and customs, folklore and ethnography of the Dagestan highlanders. Speaking about the transformation of Dagestan folklore in the works of Nemirovich-Danchenko, the author of the article also draws upon the ethnographic data featured in the works of Nemirovich-Danchenko, reflecting Dagestan.
