The Russian Literary Process of the XXIst Century: Zahar Prilepin and Tatуana Tolstaya «On the Ring» of Facebook

The Russian literary process of the XXIst century is influenced by the highly developed information technology; the works of literature and the authors’ statuses find a new embodiment in the sphere of social media instead of traditional publication forms. The article is dedicated to the controversial literary dialogue between Zahar Prilepin and Tatуana Tolstaya which took place «on the ring» of Facebook.

Blogosphere as a Literary Environment: a «Digital» Reader of Evgeny Grishkovets

The article considers literary texts and diary entries Evgeny Grishkovets which establish close links between the World wide web and the forms of traditional literary publication. Pieces of literature created by the popular writer and blogger in the context of social networks designate significant trends and features of the Russian literary process of the beginning of the XXIst century. Philological analysis is focused on the problem of the reader (categories of the «real reader» and the «implicit reader») in the works by Evgeny Grishkovets.

Social Media as a Tool of Modern Politics (The Case of D. Trump’s Twitter)

The article deals with the analysis of communication of a politician in the social network Twitter. The research is based on D. Trump’s microblog. The focus is on the means of interaction between the politician and the recipient, his self-presentation, and ways of shaping public opinion and reality.

Language features of sports Telegram channels

The article considers linguistic peculiarities of the modern media language on the example of publications about sports topics in the Telegram messenger. The following Russian Telegram channels were selected as the material for the study: “Real football”, “Football with GOAL24”, “Sports.ru”. The author studies the news content for the period from July 2018 to July 2020; the ways of reflecting sport events and those close to sport in the texts are analyzed.
